Swindon's Paul Caddis happy with first team return

Swindon Town defender Paul Caddis is happy to be back in the first team after a spell on the sidelines.

The 21-year-old centre-half has spent the last four games on the bench, having been dropped after the 3-0 home defeat to Charlton earlier this month.

But, after returning to the starting line-up for Friday's FA Cup second round 1-1 draw at Crawley, he admitted: "I was happy with my performance.

"Hopefully the gaffer was too. It's been tough for me being on the bench."

Swindon have now landed a home third round tie against Derby County, should they prevail against Crawley in their replay at the County Ground on Tuesday week (7 December, 1945 BST).

"At home we'll be the favourites as we'll get the ball down and play and hopefully go on and win the game," Caddis told BBC Wiltshire.
