Swindon Town left-back Michael Rose says he wants to re-claim his starting place after coming off the bench to score in the 3-2 defeat by Plymouth.
The 27-year-old started the first five games of the season before being dropped for Callum Kennedy and then Alan Sheehan.
"It's been really frustrating for me the last couple of weeks," Rose told BBC Wiltshire.
"A few dodgy performances from me cost me my place in the team."
Rose joined Swindon in the summer from Stockport County on a two-year deal.
He came on for the injured Sheehan against Plymouth on Tuesday night scoring an equalizer before Swindon conceded an injury-time goal.
"Callum came in and did well and Sheens has been playing well too," said Rose.
"Whoever's playing you just want them to do well, get your head down and work hard which is what I've been doing."
