Swindon Town have re-signed full-back Alan Sheehan from Leeds United on a permanent one-year deal.
The 23-year-old former Republic of Ireland Under-21 international joined the Robins on loan last season, making 26 appearances and scoring once.
His last appearance was in the play-off final defeat to Millwall at Wembley.
The former Leicester player, who can also play in midfield, will compete with Michael Rose and Calum Kennedy for the left-back slot.
Swindon have also confirmed they turned down a transfer deadline day offer from Championship side Millwall for striker Charlie Austin.
