Wilson's Swindon lost last season's League One play-off final
Swindon manager Danny Wilson says a deal to bring a new striker to the County Ground is 99.9% complete.
The un-named player will join on a season long loan to boost Wilson's attacking options.
"We need to strengthen up the top, we need those extra bodies up there. With a bit of luck we'll have two strikers in at least," he told BBC Wiltshire.
Wilson only currently has two forwards at the club in Charlie Austin and Vincent Pericard.
Last season's top scorer Billy Paynter joined Leeds at the end of the campaign.
We want to make sure that anyone who comes in comes in on the right terms and at the right time

Wilson also wants to strengthen other parts of the squad as well.
"We're still looking to bring three or four players in key areas," he said.
The Town manager says he is not concerned if he is still signing new faces in the final week of pre-season in order to get the right sort of player on board.
"We want to make sure that anyone who comes in comes in on the right terms and at the right time without being pushed in to something," he said.
"We want them to want to come and if it takes a little bit longer than normal then that's fine."
Wilson has already brought defender Michael Rose and midfielder David Prutton in.
