Wiltshire sprinter Elaine O'Neill has been selected by Great Britain to be part of their European Championship squad in Spain. The 20-year-old from Chippenham is one of six runners contesting a place in the 4x100m relay team. That is despite not achieving the 'A' qualifying mark time. O'Neill, who won two medals at the recent UK Championships in Birmingham, also impressed in Switzerland with a 100m personal best of 11.39 seconds. The championships in Barcelona are from 27 July to 1 August.
