Swindon Town release Kurt Hammonds and Mark Marshall
Marshall signed from non-league side Eastleigh in 2008
Swindon Town have released midfielders Kurt Hammonds and Mark Marshall.
Hammonds, 19, played a big part in the club's successful FA Youth Cup runs but failed to make a first team appearance.
Marshall, 24, joined the County Ground in 2008 and made 19 league appearances but struggled for a first-team place in Danny Wilson's side.
Fellow midfielders Craig Easton and Michael Timlin have been offered new deals and goalkeeper Mark Scott is also considering a contract offer.
Swindon have also confirmed that Alan Sheehan (Leeds United), Frank Nouble (West Ham United), Stephen Darby (Liverpool), Danny Ward (Bolton Wanderers) and Simon Ferry (Celtic) have all returned to their parent clubs.
