Swindon Robins' Simon Stead has admitted he does not have fond memories of riding at Eastbourne ahead of their Elite League meeting. The 28-year-old crashed out at the Arlington Stadium during the first race of the season and suffered burns to his shoulder and leg. "The important thing is that the team get the result," he told BBC Wiltshire. "It's not my favourite place, but we've gone to tracks that I've struggled on and we've had good results." Swindon's only away win of the season came at Eastbourne in March when they sealed a 47-43 victory.
