Swindon's Charlie Austin still hurt by Wembley miss
Charlie Austin scored 20 goals for Swindon Town this season
Swindon striker Charlie Austin says he still cannot watch his miss at Wembley in the League One play-off final.
The 20-year-old had the Robins' best chance of the game against Millwall but the ball hit a bobble on the pitch and Austin put it wide.
Swindon lost the game 1-0 and Austin told BBC Wiltshire that could not bear to sit through replays.
"I watched it on Sunday morning and I had to turn it off because I did feel down when I saw it again," he said.
Austin admitted he still thinks about what he could have done differently.
"If I took it earlier I don't hit the bobble," he said. "If I keep on going I hit the bobble but I still keep hold of the ball, so it's just one of them."
The 20-goal striker, who was plucked out of non-league football at Poole Town, added: "As soon as I've hit the ball I've seen I've missed and I was devastated.
"Then I get a chance near the end and I've slipped again. I guess it was just one of those days."
