Wilson has won promotions with Barnsley and Hartlepool
Swindon Town manager Danny Wilson wants his players to walk out at Wembley for the League One play-off final against Millwall with smiles on their faces.
Tension is building at the County Ground as excited fans eagerly snap up tickets for the big game on 29 May.
But Wilson is telling the squad it is important to savour the experience.
"They don't want to go out there scared to death of playing football and shaking like a leaf," the former Barnsley boss told BBC Wiltshire.
"They want to be going out there with smiles on their faces as these are the times you come into football for - exciting times.
"These type of games don't come around very often in people's careers - only once is some cases."
Wilson is well aware that Swindon face a busy week on the training pitch and in the media spotlight.
He is impressing on his players the importance of maintaining their focus. "They have to prepare themselves how they would for a very big game and there's none bigger than the one coming up," he added.
"But it's also a question of enjoying the moment. They have to remember it."
