Swindon Town captain Gordon Greer has said that the Robins still need to improve despite climbing back into the League One play-off places.
Saturday's 2-1 defeat of Brighton gave Danny Wilson's side their fifth win in six league games.
"The manager's put a lot of new faces together in the summer so it's important that we try and improve all the time," Greer told BBC Wiltshire.
"There's still work to be done but we're going in the right direction."
The victory over Brighton came courtesy of Charlie Austin's 54th-minute winner after Billy Paynter's penalty had been cancelled out by Nicky Forster.
Austin, who began the season with non-league Poole Town, has now scored five goals in his last five appearances.
"Some people have just got a knack of scoring goals," added Greer.
"When Charlie came to train with Swindon you could just see that he was a natural finisher.
"He's improved his all-round play since he's been signed up, but even back then you could see he had an eye for goal."
