Swindon
The men were arrested in a series of early-morning raids

Eighteen football fans have been charged with violent disorder after 50 Swindon Town and Cardiff City supporters clashed.

Fighting broke out in the Bridge Street area of Swindon following a friendly match on 2 July.

The men, aged between 16 and 41, were arrested in early morning raids last month and have been released on bail to appear in court in January.

Ten of the men are from Swindon and eight from South Wales.
