Morrison pledges future to Robins

Sean Morrison
Morrison has scored one goal in 23 appearances for Swindon this season

Teenage defender Sean Morrison says he will still be at Swindon next season.

The 18-year-old centre-back has another year on his contract, but has been watched by a host of Premier League and Championship clubs this campaign.

Morrison told BBC Wiltshire he will "definitely, 100%" be back at the County Ground next year.

"If I'm playing first-team football, I can gain experience and I've learnt so much from Gordon Greer, Hasney Aljofree and Jamie Vincent," he added.

In recent seasons, Swindon have sold the likes of Lukas Jutkiewicz and Ben Tozer to Everton and Newcastle, respectively.

But both players have struggled to break into the first team at their new clubs and Morrison wants to avoid something similar happening to him.

"I'm mates with Ben Tozer and he's had a bit of a horrible season to be honest with injuries, but he's just sitting on the bench and playing for the reserves."
