Sunderland clinched their place in the FA Youth Cup semi-final with a 2-1 injury-time win over Charlton Athletic on Wednesday night. Midfielder Jordan Henderson lobbed home with seconds to play and booked a date with Manchester City in the last four.
Black Cats' striker Martyn Waghorn continued his habit of scoring in every round with the opener on 55 minutes.
Charlton responded with midfielder Rachid Yussuff's strike ensuring a nervy finish for both sides.
