Camara could make his debut for Stoke at Sunderland on Saturday
Henri Camara has said the presence of four of his international team-mates convinced him to move to Stoke City on loan for the rest of the season.
Camara becomes the fifth Senegalese player in the squad, joining fellow countrymen Salif Diao, Amdy Faye, Abdoulaye Faye and Ibrahima Sonko.
He told BBC Radio Stoke: "I'm happy to be here and it helps having a couple of Senegalese players here with me.
"I am very keen to stay with Stoke City if things go well for me."
Camara is looking for a fresh start after being frozen out of Steve Bruce's first-team plans at Wigan.
I think Stoke can stay up because they are a very hard-working team and have a lot of experienced players

The 31-year-old striker added: "I had a good pre-season with Wigan and then I found myself on the bench. I wanted first-team football and that is another thing that pushed me towards Stoke.
"Whatever the manager asks me to do, I will do. He has chased me for a long time so I will do whatever I can to help him and to help Stoke stay in the Premier League.
"I have a lot of experience and have scored goals in the Premier League, so hopefully I will be able to bring that to Stoke.
