Pulis delight for promoted sides

Tony Pulis
Stoke have won their last five games at the Britannia Stadium

Stoke City manager Tony Pulis says he is delighted for Hull City following the Tigers' remarkable to the season.

The two sides meet at the Britannia Stadium on Saturday having both had unexpected success in their first season in the Premier League.

Pulis told BBC Radio Stoke: "Hull have done fantastically well. They've carried the flag for the Championship.

"Along with us, they were written off at the start of the year. If we can keep causing chaos, it'll be lovely."

And Pulis said he would be happy all if all three promoted clubs survived in the top flight.

"If West Brom can put a run of results together, they'll be right back up the table," he said.

"If at the end of the season the three promoted clubs are still in the Premier League then I'll be delighted."

Saturday's clash pits the Potters impressive home form against Hull's excellent away record.

Stoke have won five of their seven games at the Britannia Stadium, while the Tigers have picked up 14 points from seven trips away from the KC Stadium.

"They're a very strong team, with lots going for them and have a togetherness that pushes them forward," said Pulis.

"We know how tough a game it will be and we will have to be right on our front foot to get anything out of it."
