Southend United manager Paul Sturrock will not face a touchline ban, despite being sent to the stands on the opening day of the season.
Sturrock was dismissed from the dug-out for his protests about the Stockport goal in Saturday's League Two 1-1 draw.
The Football Association has contacted Southend to say no further action would be taken against the Blues boss.
The Southend boss will be back in the dug-out for Tuesday's Carling Cup First Round tie at home to Bristol City.
