Southend United goalkeeper Ian Joyce has left the club to join Major League Soccer side Colorado Rapids.
Joyce, who signed for the Blues from Watford in 2008, made only four starts in his time with the League One side.
The 24-year-old American was given permission to have a trial with the Rapids last month and has earned himself a permanent contract.
Colorado are currently on a tour of England preparing for the new MLS season, which starts on 25 March.
