Southampton midfielder Richard Chaplow has extended his loan from Preston until the end of the year.
The former England Under-21 international joined Saints on a one-month contract at the end of September but that expired on Tuesday.
The 25-year-old has failed to make a first-team appearance for North End since March.
Chaplow has featured in six matches since his loan move to St Mary's with Saints winning five of those games.
