Southampton manager Mark Wotte will find out on Friday whether he will keep his job at St Mary's.
Saints are set to announce new owners by the end of the week after a period of exclusivity for the Pinnacle Group.
Wotte is out of contract at the end of June after a three-month period in charge at the end of last season.
The Dutchman told BBC Radio Solent: "I want to be in charge but if they decide to appoint another manager life goes on and I can deal with that."
