The English Premier League has confirmed two new teams will join its ranks next season. Manchester Phoenix and Basingstoke Bison have both dropped down from the Elite League, and will be amongst the favourites to win the division. The EPL will remain with 10 teams as Telford Tigers and Isle of Wight side Wightlink Raiders have both withdrawn. Peterborough, Milton Keynes, Guildford, Slough, Bracknell, Romford, Sheffield and Swindon complete the line-up. The structure of the EPL will remain the same as last season, with teams playing each other six times during the campaign. The first set of home and away fixtures between each teams will also count as Premier Cup ties, with the top four sides qualifying for the semi-finals. The play-offs format also stays the same, with the top eight teams making it through.
