Southampton defender Jan-Paul Saeijs admitted to having mixed emotions after netting his first goals for the club in the 2-2 draw at Watford.
The 30-year-old Dutchman netted a last-minute free-kick to earn relegation-threatened Saints an away point.
But he told BBC Radio Solent: "It's nice to score twice, but it's disappointing that we didn't win.
"We felt we could come here and take all three points, but personally obviously I'm pleased with my goals."
The point took Saints to within two of the safety mark, as they prepare to face Championship front-runners Wolves on Good Friday.

"If we win one game then we could climb over Norwich and Nottingham Forest, so that's a good target for everyone," Saeijs added.
"The Watford result has given us confidence to take to Wolves, and we hope to put in a good performance."
