Shrewsbury Town's Tom Bradshaw tipped for Welsh future
Bradshaw has scored three first-team goals for Shrewsbury
Shrewsbury's Tom Bradshaw has been tipped for a bright international future after scoring on his Welsh Under-19 debut in Liechtenstein.
The 18-year-old also hit the bar in the 2-0 friendly win - and West Brom's Kayelden Brown also scored - as he bids to start in a Euro qualifier in Turkey.
"He's a good lad who took his chance well," Wales FA media spokesman Ceri Stennett told BBC Radio Shropshire.
"He's clearly one to watch, and we're delighted to have him on board."
Stennett added: "There's no reason why in a couple of years he couldn't be pushing to play in the senior team."
"He obviously caught the eye of [the Wales Under-19 manager] Brian Flynn, who's a big believer that if you're good enough, then age is no barrier."
Bradshaw's father Chris, who also saw the game, added: "Tom played the first 45 minutes really well.
"Brian Flynn took him off at half-time, saying he'd seen enough for the Turkey game."
Bradshaw, who only turned 18 in July, joined Shrewsbury after impressing as a youngster at Aberystwyth.
He made his breakthrough in the Shrewsbury first team last April, coming on as a substitute to score twice in a 3-0 win at Crewe.
He later scored in a 3-2 home defeat by Morecambe.
