Telford chairman Lee Carter praises boss Andy Sinton
Carter appointed Sinton in May following Smith's exit
AFC Telford United chairman Lee Carter has said he is very impressed with new manager Andy Sinton and his rejuvenation of the club.
The former QPR winger was appointed manager after Rob Smith was sacked at the end of last season.
"The start has been much better than we ever anticipated," Carter told BBC Radio Shropshire.
"Andy was recruited because he understood the task, what was required on and off the pitch."

Carter continued: "He understands the club needs to operate on a commercial basis, he also knows the club is all about the community.
"He embraces that and wants to be part of it. On a day to day basis he is a pleasure to work with," Carter added.
The Bucks finished 11th in the Blue Square North last season under previous boss Rob Smith, but Sinton has made an impressive start to his tenure at the club, with the Bucks currently second in the table and still unbeaten.
"This is the time that everyone at the club needs to put their foot down and really graft and make the most of this excellent start," Carter added.
The former England international managed Southern side Fleet Town before joining Telford.
