Shrewsbury have agreed to extend the loans of Waide Fairhurst and Jamie Devitt until early January.
Doncaster striker Fairhurst has hit three goals in his initial month at the Prostar, while Hull's Devitt has added extra width to the Town midfield.
"They're young lads and I feel there's still more to come from them," manager Paul Simpson told BBC Radio Shropshire.
"Waide has already shown us he's a goalscorer, but hopefully they'll both reach new levels with us."
Fairhurst's first Shrewsbury goal came on his debut in the 3-1 win over Aldershot on 24 October, while Devitt opened his account a week later in the 1-1 draw at Notts County.
Devitt has had a slight knee problem recently, and Simpson made sure he was given the all-clear by the club doctor before extending the Hull man's time at Shrewsbury.
