Shrewsbury Town have extended the loan of Bristol Rovers goalkeeper Steve Phillips by another month.
The 31-year-old, who is covering for the injured Chris Neal, has been an ever-present at the Prostar Stadium since arriving at the end of August.
"He's here for another five games which gives us more time to get Chris fully fit," Town manager Paul Simpson told BBC Radio Shropshire.
"He's been a calming influence and brought experience at the back."
Neal has been suffering from a groin injury, while second-choice Glyn Garner has a shoulder problem.
Ex-Bristol City keeper Phillips lost his place at Rovers to Fraser Forster this season and was transfer listed at his own request in August.
