Shrewsbury captain Ben Davies has set goal targets for the upcoming League Two campaign, but will not reveal them.
The midfielder was the Shrews' top scorer two seasons ago and netted six goals last term.
He told BBC Radio Shropshire: "I set myself a target every year - hopefully get there by Christmas, and push on.
"I'll keep [the target] under my hat. I never tell anyone how many I think I might get - but scoring and creating goals is what I'm all about."
He continued: "Hopefully I can show that this year."
And Davies is happy with the �170,000 signing of striker Grant Holt from Nottingham Forest.
"Grant's a proven scorer and a right handful."
