Boden agrees new Wednesday deal

Sheffield Wednesday

Sheffield Wednesday academy product Luke Boden has agreed a new two-year contract that will keep him at Hillsborough until 2011.

The 20-year-old midfielder won the club's young player of the year award and has made 19 senior appearances so far for the Owls.

"You are never secure in football," Boden told BBC Radio Sheffield.

"I need to work towards getting my next contract, getting into the team and making an impression."

The Owls have also signed 19-year-old goalkeeper Aarron Jameson to a one-year deal.

He is also a product of the academy at Hillsborough and will enter his second year as a professional keeper.
