Sheffield Wednesday manager Brian Laws has refused to set a date for Francis Jeffers' return to first team action.

The former England international successfully came through Tuesday night's 3-1 reserve-team win over Port Vale at Hillsborough.

"We've gone down this road before, we will not put a timescale on it," Laws told BBC Radio Sheffield.

"We'll see what reaction he has to that game in the next few days, then we'll step up his work and push him hard."
