Matsos has seen his side struggle for consistency this season
Sheffield Steelers head coach Dave Matsos is demanding 100% commitment ahead of his side's clash against Hull Stingrays on Saturday night.
The inconsistent Steelers have won six out of their last 13 games.
Matsos told BBC Radio Sheffield: "I do trust this club will turn around. We've shown we can compete with the best.
"Consistency is a concern of mine right now, individual consistency and performances and team. We don't want to be playing catch up all year."
Right now - whether it's a mental block in some of the guys' heads, what is going on is unacceptable

The Steelers head into the weekend's games on the back of a 2-1 defeat by Manchester Phoenix.
"Right now - whether it's a mental block in some of the guys' heads, what is going on is unacceptable," he added.
The Steelers have received a boost this week with the news that defenceman Steve Munn is back in training after picking up a heel injury against Nottingham Panthers a few weeks ago.
Munn, 30, will face a medical to see if there is a chance he will be able to play in this weekend's games against Hull Stingrays and Basingstoke Bison.
The Steelers head to Hull Stingrays on Saturday and then entertain Basingstoke Bison at the Sheffield Arena on Sunday.
