Davies made his Blades debut against Sheffield Wednesday on Friday
New Sheffield United defender Andrew Davies says he hopes to extend his stay at Bramall Lane.
The 24year-old joined from Stoke on a three-month loan hours before playing against Sheffield Wednesday on Friday.
Davies told BBC Radio Sheffield: "This is Premier League club and I think they will be at the end of the year so I'd love to stay here for longer."
"I wanted to get out of Stoke and when I heard they were interested I wanted to come as quick as I could."
He added: "To come to a great club like this to even just challenge for a place is really good, so hopefully I can stay in the team and really enjoy the three months I am here.
"When I joined Stoke I was injured so it has been a hard year because it took me while to get into the run of things."
