Scunthorpe United have extended the loan of Burnley midfielder Kevin McDonald for a further month.
The 22-year-old initially joined the Iron in October but has been hampered by a back injury during his time at Glanford Park.
McDonald appeared as a substitute in last week's defeat by Middlesbrough and made his first start on Saturday, scoring in the 4-2 defeat by Cardiff.
The Scot will now stay with United until Saturday, 18 December.
