Burnley midfielder Kevin McDonald has returned to Scunthorpe United to complete his loan spell.
McDonald, 21, suffered a back injury in his first training session with The Iron on 14 October and was sent back to Turf Moor for treatment.
Scunthorpe manager Ian Baraclough said: "He's fit, trained with us in a tough session and comes into the reckoning [for Saturday's game at Hull City].
"He's got 12 days left of the loan so it incorporates three games."
McDonald has been out of favour at Turf Moor having only made one substitute appearance this season, when he scored in the Carling Cup against Morecambe.
The Scot has played 64 games for the Clarets since moving from Dundee for £500,000 in June 2006.
