Scunthorpe United manager Nigel Adkins says he is pleased with the performances of young striker Matt Godden in pre-season.
Godden, 18, has yet to make his first team debut for The Iron but has scored twice in three friendlies this summer.
Adkins told BBC Radio Humberside: "Matt's come through the youth system and (youth development officer) Tony Daws has been working hard with him.
"He's a goalscorer but needs to keep working on that part of his game."
