Scunthorpe have offered one-year professional deals to four of their youth team players.

Central defenders Jake Picton and Niall Canavan, left-back Rory Coleman and striker Matthew Godden are the quartet.

Youth team manager Tony Daws told the club's website: "I'm absolutely delighted for the lads."

Meanwhile, Iron midfielder Matt Sparrow will celebrate 10 years with the club with a testimonial match at Glanford Park on Monday, 4 May.
