Scunthorpe United manager Nigel Adkins has dismissed suggestions that Kenny Milne has missed pre-season so far because of yet another injury setback.
Milne, 29, has made only one appearance for the Iron following his arrival from Falkirk due to a serious knee injury.
"Has hasn't had a setback, we're just looking after him through the course of his rehabilitation," Iron boss Nigel Adkins told BBC Radio Humberside.
"He's not having another operation so people can just forget about that one."
Former Glasgow Rangers youth product Milne arrived at Glanford Park on a free transfer in 2008 and is recovering from a second knee operation.
However, he looks unlikely to be fit in time for the Iron's season-opening return to the Championship at Cardiff on 8 August.
