Scunthorpe United have secured the signature of former Falkirk defender Kenny Milne.
The 28-year-old, who joined the Bairns from Partick Thistle in 2005, has signed a two-year contract.
Milne, who began his career with Hearts, rejected the offer of a new contract from the SPL outfit.
Falkirk boss John Hughes told BBC Sport: "I always enjoyed working with him and we're delighted for him. I think he'll do well."
Milne made 31 appearances last season as Falkirk finished in seventh place.
"I've played in Scotland for a long time now and I fancied a whole new challenge," he told the Scunthorpe website.
"I spoke to the manager and was dead impressed with what he had to say.
He has ambitions to get the club back into the Championship and I want to be a part of that."
The League One side have also handed a trial to released Manchester United left-back Michael Lea.
Lea, 20, did not make a first team appearance at Old Trafford and spent part of last season on loan at Royal Antwerp.
