Pearce was in the Under-19 squad for the Euro Championships this summer

Scunthorpe will be without Krystian Pearce for two games next month while he is with England Under-19s.

The 18-year-old on-loan Birmingham City defender has been named in the squad for the European qualifiers in Northern Ireland during October.

Scunthorpe manager Nigel Adkins told BBC Radio Humberside: "He'll miss the JP Trophy game with Grimsby and the following league game with Crewe."

United have won all six games since his arrival from St Andrew's.
