Scunthorpe United have completed the signing of Birmingham City defender Krystian Pearce on a one-month loan.
The 18-year-old has been brought in to provide cover for the injured Izzy Iriekpen, Kenny Milne Andy Crosby.
The England Under-19 international enjoyed loan spells with Notts County and Port Vale last season.
"Jack Cork, who I know through the England set-up, was here last year. He told me how good the club is," Pearce told the club's website.
The centre-back is held in high regard by the staff at St Andrew's.
With Iriekpen, Milne and Crosby injured and David Mirfin suspended, Pearce could be in the squad for Saturday's match against Peterborough United.
