Fozzard is closing in on 150 Super League appearances |
Hull Kingston Rovers have signed St Helens' former Great Britain prop Nick Fozzard on a two-year deal. The 31-year-old was not offered a new deal at Knowsley Road and Robins coach Justin Morgan says signing the player is a real coup for the club. "He's a top signing for us and we beat off other clubs to sign him," Morgan told BBC Radio Humberside. "I think it's a reflection on how far this club has come and I think it's a huge feather in the cap for this club."
 | 606: DEBATE | Morgan believes the signing of the Wakefield-born veteran will add a dynamic element to his side. "To get a player that wears the number eight shirt in a St Helens team which for the last three years has been the most dominant team in Super League is great for us," he said. "For him to have a desire to come here speaks volumes and I think the board of directors need to be congratulated on the work they've put in to capture a player of this calibre." Fozzard becomes the second new arrival at Craven Park this week, following the arrival of Liam Colborn from Wigan on Wednesday.
