Sinclair was the Whites' first signing of the summer

Midfielder Rob Sinclair will miss the start of Salisbury's second Blue Square Premier campaign.

Sinclair, 18, will be out for six to eight weeks after suffering a knee injury in the Whites' pre-season friendly with Port Vale.

"It's not as bad as a lot of people were saying. He's in plaster but it's not major, only a tear," manager Nick Holmes told the Salisbury Journal.

Sinclair moved from Luton to the Raymond McEnhill Stadium in July.
