John Jackson's left-footed shot put the visitors ahead before he set up Scott Vernon to score from close range.

Swindon striker Simon Cox pulled one back with a penalty after a Matt Heath handball before Billy Paynter hit the woodwork with a header.

Cox pounced on the rebound but keeper Dean Gerken pushed his effort wide as the U's recovered and secured a win with Sunday-Akanni Wasiu's strike.
