Edinburgh not rushing on signings
Rushden and Diamonds manager Justin Edinburgh says he has not paid any attention to Kettering's recent off-field woes.
The Poppies have lost their chairman and a host of players, as they also struggle to secure a new ground.
Edinburgh told BBC Radio Northampton: "We know the situation at Kettering isn't ideal, but sometimes that makes players more resolute and stronger.
"Kettering Town isn't my concern. We certainly won't underestimate them."
The two Northamptonshire sides meet for the first time in the Blue Square Premier this season on Saturday.
"I know what [the derby] means to our fans and my players know what's at stake," Edinburgh added.
Rushden are in the market for two new players, but Edinburgh says they may not arrive immediately.
"We're looking for a defender and a forward. In other areas we have plenty of cover.
"But obviously at the present time, we haven't played much football and revenue is tight."
