Rushden and Diamonds striker Sam Smith has joined Blue Square North outfit Corby Town on a month's loan.
The 19-year-old, who made his Diamonds debut in 2008, played for Corby's youth team before signing on at Nene Park.
Rushden's manager Justin Edinburgh said: "We need to get Sam some games, and with us not having a reserve team here it's been difficult.
"He picked up an injury early in the season so it's only fair that I get him matches to get fit."
Rushden have also parted company with defender Bobby Aisien who has signed for King's Lynn.
