Rushden boss Justin Edinburgh says he is not worried after his side took just one point from their last two games.
Diamonds could only draw with Cambridge and lose to Stevenage over the Bank Holiday weekend.
Edinburgh told BBC Radio Northampton: "We didn't get the points we deserve. Of course, you'd rather play poorly and collect three points.
"But I've been in football long enough to know if we continue to perform like we are, then we'll win games."
Rushden's next game sees them travel to Barrow on Saturday.
Meanwhile, Jake Beecroft has joined Conference North side Ilkeston Town on an initial one month loan.
The 19-year-old started 15 games last season, and scored one goal, for the Diamonds.
"He just needs to get a run of games, and to learn the physical side of the game," said Edinburgh.
"We had plenty of inquiries about him, and that didn't surprise me."
