New Rushden & Diamonds signing Paul Terry is impressed with the facilities and set-up at his new club.
Terry, whose brother John is Chelsea and England captain, was not signed in time to take part in Monday's 1-1 home draw against Cambridge United.
But, after watching from the stand, Terry said: "The set-up and the facilities are second to none. It's all in place to have a good push this year.
"We now need to try and get out of this league," he told BBC Northamptonshire.
Terry must now force his way into the Rushden midfield where Max Porter and Matt Pattison are currently performing well.
"It looks like very good competition," he said. "But that's what you want.
"You don't want people to know they are going to play week in, week out, and we certainly haven't got that here.
"You have got to fight for your place and earn the shirt every week."
