Rushden & Diamonds have signed Barnet midfielder Max Porter and handed defender Simon Downer a one-year deal.
Porter, 21, made 51 starts in two seasons with the League Two Bees, who released him this summer.
Downer, 27, joined the Diamonds from Sutton United in January and played 17 Blue Square Premier games.
"I'm delighted that Simon has put pen to paper because as fans will have seen he is an outstanding defender," said manager Justin Edinburgh.
"It's been a couple of weeks since I first spoke to Max.
"A couple of clubs in the Blue Square Premier have been interested but he's come here for the right reasons and it's a fantastic signing for us," he added.
Edinburgh has now made four summer signings, with Downer and Porter following Nick McNamara and Kurt Robinson.
