Rushden & Diamonds have signed midfielder Nick McNamara, recently released by Hull City.
The 19-year-old has been training with the Diamonds on a trial basis for the last week, playing on Tuesday in the training game defeat to Wolves.
McNamara was given his first professional contract by the Tigers at the beginning of the season, but struggled to make an impact.
He will take squad number four, and may feature on Saturday against Salisbury.
