Rotherham United have taken former Millers striker Paul Warne and former Stoke City forward Marc Grocott on trial, BBC Radio Sheffield reports.
Grocott is a 19-year-old free agent and Warne, 36, is available after turning down a new contract at Yeovil.
"I know Paul Warne is fit, he did most of my running outside of the penalty area," said Millers boss Mark Robins.
"Marc Grocott has got good movement and can finish, but he may be one we take on and develop for the future."
