Rotherham midfielder Mark Hudson has rejected a new contract offer and will leave the club at the end of the month.
Hudson, 28, joined from Chesterfield in 2007 and has been a first-team regular under boss Mark Robins.
Chief operating officer Paul Douglas told the club website: "We offered a new contract to Mark but he has decided it was time to move on."
Meanwhile assistant boss John Breckin and first team coach Nick Daws have signed three-year deals.
Physio Denis Circuit has also penned a new three-year contract, meaning all three, will stay at the club until the summer of 2012.
Douglas said re-signing the trio showed the club's "determination to provide stability".
He added: "They have all been with the club through thick and thin and their loyalty has been rewarded."
Breckin made his Millers debut as a player in 1972 and continued in a variety of coaching roles when his playing career ended.
He re-joined the club in 2007 when Robins was named manager.
Daws is another former player who joined the coaching staff in 2004, while Circuit has been with the club for 10 years.
