The 32-year-old has agreed a deal until the end of the season after negotiating his release from Griffin Park.

"He could have sat comfortably on an 18-month contract at Brentford but chose instead to come here and prove himself," said Dale boss Keith Hill.

"He can bring things to the table that perhaps we haven't got," he added.
